HEBRON, West Bank (AP) - Israeli soldiers killed two suspected Islamic militants Wednesday in a gun battle in a West Bank village, and Israeli helicopters fired missiles on a Palestinian government complex in the Gaza Strip, killing a security guard and injuring five people.

US votes against against UN resolution targetting Jerusalem

For the first time ever, the United States on Tuesday voted against a UN decision calling on Israel to repeal the Jerusalem Law. In previous years the US has abstained when the issue has been raised.
