Hamas claims suicide bombing that killed 71-year-old woman

One person was killed and 30 injured Thursday morning when a suicide bomber blew himself up after failing to get onto a bus on the Geha highway near Bnei Brak, but a far greater disaster was prevented by the bus driver and a passenger who pinned the bomber to the ground until the packed bus had emptied.

Two boys killed in Rafah; Israel arrests more than 70 Palestinians

In the Gaza refugee camp of Rafah, two Palestinians, ages 12 and 17, were killed Thursday in an exchange of fire between Israeli soldiers and local fighters.

Israel Radio reported that a Palestinian bomber detonated himself near Tel Aviv Thursday morning. One woman was killed and 16 people were wounded. The 71-year-old woman was critically wounded and died later of her wounds.
