Border Police officers fatally shot Israeli Arab Morasi Jibali, 28, and wounded his friend, 22, in a village near the Green Line on Tuesday afternoon when officers mistook them for possible terrorists. The officers said they thought the car matched intelligencereports of a vehicle smuggling terrorists into Israel. They shot Jibali and wounded his friend in the shoulder as the two tried to flee a police roadblock in the Israeli Arab village of Taibeh, east of Netanya.

Arafat: 'Grave consequences' if Jews keep visiting Temple Mount

Police then removed the Jews from the Temple Mount to prevent further contacts between them and the guards.
Hizbullah cross-border anti-aircraft fire wounds two in northern Israel

Two people were wounded - one of them moderately -by shrapnel from Hizbullah anti-aircraft shells that exploded and fell over Shlomi in Western Galilee on Tuesday. Shlomi local council head Gaby Na'aman was in the area at the time of the firing and helped the man who was badly hurt after being struck by fragments in the shoulder and chest.

There were 26 separate terror incidents since the Palestinian factions announced their unilateral cease-fire, a Palestinian security forces report says. The report cites mortar fire, anti-tank rocket fire, shots fired at IDF patrols and the suicide attack at Kfar Yavetz and the stabbing in Jaffa. According to the report, during the three weeks of hudna, there have been an average of 1.3 incidents of violence per day compared to an average of 13 a day during June and an average 18 a day during the entireintifada.

Israel promised that building their 20-foot Apartheid Wall around the West Bank wouldn’t disrupt the daily life of the Palestinians. Ten days ago, Israeli military ignored that promise by closing the gate through the wall at Deir Al Ghasoon, denying 40 farmers and 500 workers the right to tend their land on the other side. When farmers, and ISM internationals arrived, they were pushed back through the gate and threatened with a five-minute deadline to leave the area. When the media arrived at the checkpoint, they were refused access.

Amman - The committee of relatives of missing Jordanians and prisoners in the Zionist entity has refused a recently published proposal to move those prisoners from occupation jails to Jordanian prisons. The report said that the Jordanian foreign ministry is to table the proposal with the Zionist government. It noted that the suggestion was similar to the reported Egyptian proposal on shifting Palestinian detainees from Zionist jails to Palestinian Authority prisons in a bid to settle the question of those detainees.
