Palestinian Youngster Killed East Ramallah
Palestinian youth Mamoun al-Zabin, 18 years old, from al-Mazra'a
village, east of Ramallah was killed during confrontations near
the village late last night. Medical sources reported that al-Zabin
was hit with an explosive bullet in the back and left to bleed for
over one hour. Another youngster, Hakam Abu Ulya, 17 years old,
was critically wounded.
The Israeli army yesterday evening invaded al-Kuroum al-Shamaliya
area in Betounya and arrested five people. Several homes were raided
and searched brutally.
Curfew and Arrests in West Bank
Tulkarem
The Israeli army tightened the imposed closure on Tulkarem
today and prevented anyone from entering or leaving. Israeli soldiers
arrested several people this morning during the lifting of the curfew.
Nablus
Israeli soldiers arrested a number of people from Beit Dajan
village today as well as terrorized the residents.
On another front, Palestinian students in the city of Nablus challenged
the imposed closure and attempted to reach their schools to sit
exams, which they have been prevented from sitting for the past
month.
Five Civilians Wounded in Israeli Military Attacks on Khan Younis
At least five civilians, including two children were moderately
wounded today in Israeli military attacks on Khan Younis refugee
camp and al-Namsawi quarter in the city. Israeli occupation soldiers
based in `Neveh Dkalim' settlement attacked homes in the mentioned
areas with machine gun fire for no apparent reason.
The Israeli army also invaded al-Farahin area east of Khan Younis
and caused severe destruction to civilian property.
