Occupation Forces Enter Red Crescent Society in Early Morning Raid

[NABLUS] Internationals received a distress call from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) office at approximately 2am. The Israeli army had surrounded the building with tanks and soldiers and forced the staff out into the parking lot.

Five internationals walked from the Union of Palestinian Medical Relief Committees (UPMRC) office to the PRCS with hands raised, calling out to the soldiers. The peace activists demanded that they be allowed to observe the situation and two of their number went into the PRCS offices joining a third already there and one more is riding with an ambulance.

Marcus Armstrong (UK) is reporting that the army is holding the identity cards of two paramedics and preventing them from going out on ambulance calls.

The army is conducting a house-to-house search in the neighborhood surrounding the PCRS and has also entered a nearby mosque.
