The
Israeli army continues to practice acts of terror against the residents
of all Palestinian cities, villages and refugee camps amidst an
international silence.
Israeli
soldiers raid homes, search and destroy people's belongings and
impose a curfew on thousands of civilians. Hundreds of civilians
are arrested on a daily basis.
A
tight military siege is imposed on all Palestinian areas making
it difficult for even foreigners, journalists and diplomats to move
around.

A
pregnant woman was critically wounded this afternoon west of al-
Bireh when Israeli soldiers opened fire at a group of people before
the re-imposition of the curfew that was lifted for a number of
hours. Suheir al-Atari, 18 years old, was critically wounded in
the head by Israeli fire.
The
Israeli army continues to impose a tight military siege on the city
and on Arafat's headquarters. Diplomats and officials are even prevented
from moving freely. A curfew continues to be imposed on the residents,
Israeli snipers occupy roofs of buildings and soldiers arrest people.
Nablus
---------
At
least 3 civilians were wounded today, one critically, when Israeli
soldiers opened fire at a group of people in the city.
At
the same time, the Israeli army continues to attack the city. Israeli
soldiers planted explosions this morning at the entrance of a home
in Rafidya residential quarter and blew it up before arresting 3
Palestinian policemen. Three floors of a student resident were demolished
for no apparent reason and without any prior warning.
Israeli
soldiers also opened heavy machine gun fire randomly in various
areas of the city. A number of people were wounded as a result.
Jenin
-------
The
Israeli army imposed a curfew before noon today on Anza and Ijja
villages. Witnesses reported that settlers in cars opened fire at
the residents in the villages before a large number of Israeli soldiers
invaded the two villages and declared a curfew through loud speakers.
Witnesses
in Jenin city reported today that Israeli soldiers provoked the
inhabitants who have been placed under curfew for 3 weeks by using
bad and insulting language through loud speakers. The curfew is
not restricted to confining people in their own homes, but also
to opening windows and doors.
Israeli
soldiers reportedly attack homes, shops and even trees with heavy
machine gun fire and intentionally destroy trees on either side
of roads in the city.
Israeli
soldiers held dozens of people and searched them provocatively while
their were returning to their homes during the lifting of the curfew.
On
another front, Israeli bulldozers demolished a large farm in Toubas,
inflicting losses of over $20,000.

The
Israeli army raided the Palestinian national security headquarters
and held all the employees for several hours. Israeli soldiers also
raided the home of a high-ranking national security official, Captain
Najih Khattab, and held his family members for several hours.
Israeli
soldiers also occupied Beni Zeid elementary school in Beit Rima
and transferred it into a military base. Witnesses reported that
severe destruction was done to the school.
