"Seven Jewish Children: A Play for Gaza" and "Rose" at the Unadilla Theater July 3, 4, 7, 9, 10, 15 & 16, 7:30 PM Unadilla Theater, Blachly Road, East Montpelier, VT -- The Unadilla Theater is pleased to announce the production of two first-rate, provocative plays that probe Jewish history and the Israel/Palestine conflict, "Rose"and "Seven Jewish Children: A Play for Gaza". The evening will open with "Rose," Martin Sherman's powerful one-woman piece, a personal account of 20th and 21st century history, with references to the Holocaust and Israel's treatment of Palestinians. Mary Wheeler, well-known local actress, will perform the title role. "Seven Jewish Children: A Play for Gaza" was written by Caryl Churchill, one of Great Britain's finest contemporary playwrights.
